Roy is a former legal aid criminal defence solicitor who represented many youths involved in the criminal justice system, most of whom came from troubled and deprived backgrounds.
His willingness to work with Triple H arises from his belief that the charity’s work is crucial in helping young people cope with difficult circumstances and simply allowing them a well-structured and therapeutic break in the countryside.
His experience in founding and running his own practice enables him to bring the practical support and oversight required of a trustee.
Gareth has worked in primary schools as a teacher and senior leader for 20 years. He has worked primarily in inner city schools and has a deep understanding of the issues facing many children from disadvantaged backgrounds. His involvement with Triple H stems from seeing firsthand the tremendous impact the residential visits have had on these young people.
Mike has strong ties to the Triple H staff team and has a lot of understanding of the kinds of issues Triple H children face. He is an experienced trustee already having worked with a number of charities including Operation Smile and the Pituitary Foundation. Mike is very supportive of the work we do and is keen to help us grow so that we can reach more children.
Mike is a singer and one fifth of the vocal group The Overtones.
